Kanye West is an American singer, song-writer, rapper and producer. He began rapping at the age of 3, and since then, he has become an inseparable part of the rap world and popular culture. He dropped out of college, to make his hugely popular album, College Dropout. The album was a runaway hit, and catapulted Kanye to fame and bigger successes. He is one of the world`s best selling artists, having sold over 21 million albums and 66 million digital downloads. He is also one of the most awarded artists of all time, with a record 57 Grammy nominations and a staggering 21 Grammys to his name. Kanye got his big break in 2001, when he collaborated with rap mogul Jay-Z on the album The Blueprint. His third album, Graduation also shattered records all over the world. Apart from his credits as a rap god, Kanye has also made appearances in films like State Property 2 (2005), The Love Guru (2008) and We Were Once a Fairytale (2009). He also directed the short films Runaway (2010) and Cruel Summer (2012). Kanye is set to make an appearance in the forthcoming film, Zoolander 2, which is scheduled for a February 2016 release.
