The son of poplar Norwegian actor Erik Hivju, Kristofer Hivju is a Norwegian film actor, writer and producer who is best known for portraying the role of Tormud Giantsbane in the popular fantasy series Game of Thrones. The alumnus of the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts, Aarhus, Denmark started his career in the entertainment business by working in various TV series and short films before eventually making his debut on the silver screen with Manhunt (2008). A few of his other notable films includes After Earth (2013), In Order of Disappearance (2014), The Last King (2016) and The Fate of the Furious (2017) directed by F. Gary Gray.
