An actor, producer, and social activist, Kunickaa Sadanand Lall began her acting career in the late ‘80s. Fascinated to work on television at a young age, Kunickaa appeared in a few TV shows while she lived in Delhi and later went to Mumbai to pursue a career in films. After appearing in the TV serial Adalat, directed by Dheeraj Kumar, the actress made her feature debut with the Hindi movie Kabrastan. Following which she mainly appeared in negative roles and was involved in several bold scenes in many of her movies. However, it was her role in the TV serial Swabhimaan that gave her recognition. Some of her prominent negative roles have come with the movies Beta (1992), Khiladi (1992) and Gumraah (1993). The actress has also appeared in movies such as Page 3 (2005), Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar (2006), and Fugly (2014).

Apart from being an actor, Kunickaa is a singer as well and has released three albums - Lakhon Mein Ek (1996), Kunika (2002), and Joombish (2006). She also runs an event company - Karma Events and Entertainment - and has participated and organized in over 100 stage shows in India and abroad. The actress has been actively involved in social activities for more than two decades and on 15th August 2005, she launched Tara Charitable Trust that aims to help the underprivileged people.

Kunickaa’s 2017 release includes the Marathi comedy movie Kaay Re Rascalaa directed by Giridharan Swamy. The movie is also co-produced by her.
