M G Soman a.k.a Somashekharan Nair was an actor in the South Indian film industry. He is well-known for his roles in films like Aval Oru Thodar Kathai (1974), Naalai Namadhe (1975), Kumara Vijayam (1976), Airport (1993). Some of his most successful films include Aagamanam (1980), Nandi Veendum Varika (1986), Koodum Thedi (1985), Kochaniyathi (1971) Lelam (1997). Soman has been awarded the Kerala State Film Award for Thanal, Pallavi, Swapnadanam, Chuvanna Sandhyakal.
