Although she aspired to become a doctor, Manasi Naik chose to take up acting as her career after she started modeling during her college days. A graduate of the Fergusson College, Pune, Mansi came to Mumbai in the mid-2000s. During her time at the college, she was an active participant in cultural activities and also won several awards at the college festival. Apart from being a model and actor, Manasi is also a very good dancer and is well-known for her performance in songs such as 'Baghtoy Rikshawala' and 'Bai Vadyavar Ya'. She made her feature debut in 2007 with the Marathi movie Jabardast, following which she was seen in movies such as Kutumb (2012), Konkanastha (2013), and Murder Mestri (2015). In 2017, she appeared in the movies Vajra and Bhavishyachi Aishi Taishi.
