Best remembered for featuring alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan in the song `Dil Mera` from the 2012 action spy movie Agent Vinod, Maryam Zakaria is a Swedish-Iranian actress and dancer. Apart from being a model and dancer, Maryam is the founder and owner of the dance school Indisk Dans Studio, which is Sweden`s first Bollywood dance school. In 2007, the model and choreographer moved to Mumbai where she soon started appearing in ads for brands like Set Wet, Lay`s, and Coca Cola.

Before receiving her first movie offer, Maryam featured in Saeed Shayesteh`s music videos such as those of songs like Goli, Man Sazegaram, Ghorboni, and Doset Daram among many others. Her first feat on the big screen came with a special appearance in the 2009 movie Paying Guest, after which Tamil film director Sundar C. roped her in to be a part of a song from his 2010 action film Nagaram. It was her performance in the song `Diyalo Diyala` from the 2011 Telugu movie 100% Love that fetched her widespread recognition, following which she played the a pivotal role in the Allari Naresh and Sneha Ullal-starrer Madatha Kaja in 2011.

Making her Bollywood debut, Maryam portrayed the role of Farah Faqesh in the 2012 spy action movie Agent Vinod, featuring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles. She then continued to make appearances in songs of movies such as Naa Ishtam, Dammu, Rowdy Rathore, and Bajatey Raho before she bagged the role of Rose in the adult comedy Grand Masti, which featured Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, and Vivek Oberoi. In 2017, she was cast alongside Kapil Sharma, Ishita Dutta, and Monica Gill in the comedy drama Firangi. Her 2020 release includes Arjuna.
