Navid Negahban is an Iranian American television and film actor. He is best known for his roles in films like Charlie Wilson`s War (2007), Brothers (2009) and American Sniper (2014); and television shows like 24, Homeland, The Mentalist and Mistresses. For his performance in the 2009 docudrama Liberation, Negahban won the Best Actor Award at the Noor Iranian Film Festival. Other significant acting credits include the 2013 drama film Words and Pictures and the 2017 action thriller American Assassin. Notable television credits also include Lost, Criminal Minds, Person of Interest and Law & Order.

In 2019, he portrayed role of `Sultan` in Disney`s action adventure fantasy Aladdin. Directed by Guy Ritchie, starring Will Smith, Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud in prominent roles.
