After making her debut in 2014 with the Tamil drama Madhavanum Malarvizhiyum, Neeraja made her foray in the Telugu film industry the same year with Veedu Chala Worst opposite Nandamuri Tarakaratna. The following year, in 2015, she was cast opposite Tamil actor Ram in Aaranyam, three years after which she played a supporting role in the Gokul Suresh Gopi, Miya George and Unni Mukundan-starrer drama thriller Ira, which marks her Malayalam film debut.
