Onika Tanya Maraj, popularly known as Nicki Minaj, is American singer, rapper, songwriter and voice artist. She has released 2 successful albums- Pink Friday (2010) and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (2012). She has released a number of hit singles like Super Bass and Starships. She was the first female artist to be on MTV`s Annual Hottest MC List for being the most influential female rapper. She is well known for her unconventional style of dressing and distinctive style of rapping.

In April 2013, she was the most charted female rapper ever in the Billboard Hot 100 List and has collectively received 10 Grammy nominations. She has won a number awards, including, 6 American Music Awards, 10 BET Awards, 3 MTV Video Music Awards, 4 Billboard Music Awards. She also got the Billboard`s Women in Music Rising Star award in 2011.

She lent her voice for the film Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019) and starred in The Other Woman (2014) and Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016). She has also featured in numerous Music video and video shorts.
