Olivier Assays is a popular French film director, screenwriter and film critic who is noted for directed the award-winning films Summer Hours (2008), Carlos (2010), Something in the Air (2012) and Personal Shopper (2016). The director who started his career by directing short films and TV documentaries made his first feature film debut as a director with Disorder in 1986. In a career spanning near four decades, the stalwart director has been nominated thrice for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival-Palme d`Or. A few of his other popular films include Alice and Martin (1998), Demonlover (2002), Clean (2004) and Boarding Gate (2007).
