Patricia Lea Jenkins, better known as Patty Jenkins is a popular American TV and film director and screenwriter who started her career in the film industry with A Modern Affair (1995) as a second assistant director. Her maiden directorial venture was Monster (2003), which won the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature. Her 2017 release includes Wonder Woman, an American superhero film. Apart from directing films, she has also directed several TV series` including Arrested Development (2004), The Sarah Silverman Program (2008), Five (2011), and Betrayal (2013).
