A software engineer by profession, Pavani Gangireddy is seen playing supporting roles in movies and is known for her work in the Telugu film industry. Although she has acted in short films and few skits here and there, she never considered acting as a full-time career. However, when she was approached by an assistant director from Kranthi Madhav`s team to play a part in the 2015 romantic drama Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, she couldn`t turn down the offer.

After debuting alongside Nithya Menen and Sharwanand, Pavani was seen in a string of movies such as Size Zero, Brahmotsavam, Right Right, Jo Achyutananda, and Dhrushti. Her 2019 releases include Jessie and Meeku Maathrame Cheptha.
