Pooja Gandhi, also known as Sanjana Gandhi, is an Indian film actress known for her work in Kannada cinema. She started her career with the TV series Zameen Se Aassman Tak and made her big screen debut with the Bengali film Tomake Salam (2003). She later moved to the South Indian film industry and appeared in Mungaru Male (2006), which went on to become a big hit and catapulted her to instant stardom. Some of her most notable works include Kodagana Koli Nungitha (2008), Manmatha (2007), Milana (2007), Budhivanta (2008), Huchchi (2009), Taj Mahal (2008), Dandupalya (2012), Panchamrutha (2011), and Eela (2013). She bagged the Filmfare Best Actress Award for her performance in Taj Mahal and Dandupalya. In 2015, she was seen in director Satish Pradhan`s Abhinetri, based on the life of actress Kalpana, and the drama movie Thippajji Circle starring her in the lead opposite Suresh Sharma. She then made a guest appearance in the 2016 movie Kathe Chitrakathe Nirdeshana Puttanna, directed by Srinivasa Raju.

Her 2017 venture includes the adult comedy movie Jilebi, which featured her in the lead role opposite Yashas and Vijay Chandur, and received positive critical and audience reviews. Her other release in the year includes the Kannada thriller movie Dandupalya - 2 starring Pooja Gandhi in the lead role, under the direction of Srinivasa Raju. She is associated with Kannada crime-thriller Dandupalya 3 directed by Srinivasa Raju, starring Ravi Shankar P., Makarand Deshpande, Shruti and Ravi Kale in lead roles. Her 2018 release includes Shri Hasanamba Mahime.
