Grandson of Karnataka`s first Chief Minister K. C. Reddy, Raam Reddy is a director and writer. After completing his graduation from Delhi`s St. Stephen`s College, Reddy moved to Prague to study film direction at Prague Film School. After writing for and directing a couple of short films, Raam directed his first feature film Thithi, a 2015 Kannada black comedy drama, which went on to win numerous awards, including the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Kannada at the 63rd National Film Awards.
