Dabbling in several fields, Raj Kundra is a British businessman, producer and TV personality, who has also expressed his interest in both cricket and mixed martial arts events. He married Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty in 2009. They have a son, Viaan, who was born on 21st May, 2012. Raj previously owned the IPL cricket team, Rajasthan Royals with his wife, Shilpa Shetty. Raj Kundra and Sanjay Dutt joined hands to launch India`s first professional mixed martial arts fighting league- the Super Fight League (SFL)- on 16th January, 2012. In 2005 Raj turned a film producer with English musical-comedy, It Could Be You.

In 2018 Raj Kundra produced the Punjabi movie, Nanak. The drama has been directed by Rakesh Mehta and has Jassie Gill, Japji Khaira, Diljott, Sardar Sohi, Anita Devgan, and Agamvir Singh. He then featured in and directed his biopic titled UT 69 (2023).
