A Bengali filmmaker, Rajiv Kumar Biswas made his directorial debut with the romantic film Dujone, starring Dev, Srabanti Chatterjee and Arun Banerjee in the lead roles. He then helmed movies like Paglu (2011), Bikram Singha: The Lion Is Back (2012), Khoka 420 (2013), Amanush 2 (2015) and Love Express (2016).

His 2017 release includes the Bengali movie Tomake Chai, starring Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee in lead roles. His other releases include Crime - The Dark Side (2018), Raja Rani Raji (2018) and Love Story (2019).
