Rama Narayanan was an Indian film director and producer popular in Tamil Cinemas. He started his carrier as producer in 1977 Meenakshi Kungumam and however he made his debut as a director with Sumai movie in 1981. He had worked with more than 100 movies and some of his directions are Kutti Pisasu, Cara Majaka and Durga. He was also the head of the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) for three consecutive elections. He died on 22 June 2014 at a Singapore.
