One of the most versatile artist in the Indian film industry, Revanta Sarabhai is a film and theater actor, dancer and choreographer rolled into one. The grandson of the legendary yesteryear Indian scientist Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, Revanta started training in dance from his grandmother Mrinalini Sarabhai at a very young age; he made his solo classical dance debut on stage at the age of eight. In his early teens, Revanta Sarabhai started touring with the Darpana Performing Group and also received training in a variety of other dance forms including folk and contemporary dance in India and abroad.
After completing his bachelor`s degree in fine arts from The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, United States and masters in Performance & Creative Research from the University of Roehampton, London, he worked as an independent dancer and choreographer in Europe before eventually moving to Indian in 2014. Revanta started his career in the film industry with Dhantya Open in 2017 and his 2018 release includes Mijaaj, a Gujarati action crime drama film directed by Tapan Vyas.
Apart from acting in films, the talented dancer collaborates with several national and international dancers and choreographers for various projects. He has been an associate choreographer at Korzo since 2012 and he also heads the arts education and training activities at the Darpana Academy of Performing Arts in Ahmedabad.
