Richard Chew is an American film editor and producer, born on born June 28, 1940. He edited various films such as Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise, Goin' South and My Favorite Year. He was awarded with the Academy Award for his work on Star Wars in 1977. He also became the member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and American Cinema Editors.
