Sayak Chakraborty is an Indian film and television actor who primarily works in the Bengali entertainment industry. Having started his career as a junior artist in 2008, he made his film debut with The Light - Swami Vivekananda (2011) a Hindi-Bengali bilingual film. Sayak has become the popular face in Bengali TV shows best known for Mahaprabhu Sree Chaitanya, a mythological show, and Karunamoye Rani Rashmoni, a historical drama show which airs on Zee Bangla. Apart from various TV shows, he has also worked in movies like Bawali Unlimited (2012) and Guru Kripa (2015). Sayak`s 2020 project includes Bela Shuru, a family drama film directed by Nandita Roy.
