Best remembered for playing negative roles, Shahbaz Khan is an Indian film and television actor, working Hindi film and television industry. He got his first breakthrough in the 1990 TV series The Sword of Tipu Sultan, where he portrayed the role of historical figure Hyder Ali. He, later, went to act in television shows like Junoon, The Great Maratha, Betaal Pachisi, Ssshhh... Koi Hain, and Mitwa - Phool Kamal Ke. His notable works in television are C.I.D., Saat Phere, Naaginn, Grihasti, Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke, Afasar Bitiya, Dekha Ek Khwaab, Ek Ghar Banaunga, and Santoshi Maa.

Meanwhile, the actor also made his big screen debut with the movie Dhartiputra in 1993. Shahbaz has Bollywood films like Major Saab, Chal Mere Bhai, Raju Chacha, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Mangal Pandey: The Rising, Agent Vinod, Singh Saab the Great, Romeo & Radhika, and Sargoshiyan to his credit. His other projects include Ishaknama and Ishq Tera. His 2018 release includes Badla Hindustani Ka.
