Sharat Katariya is an Indian director who started his career as an assistant director to acclaimed director Rajat Kapoor in his film Raghu Romeo. He also worked as lyricist for the same film before moving on to write dialogues for Bheja Fry (2007), Fruit and Nut (2009), Bheja Fry 2 (2011), Fan (2016), and Befikre (2016). Making his debut directorial venture with the film 10 ml Love in 2010, he directed the well-received box-office hit Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), before directing Sui Dhaaga (2018).
