Shrabani Basu is an Indian author and journalist. She began her career as a journalist at Times of India and subsequently moved to London, from where she has since worked as a correspondent for The Telegraph and Ananda Bazar Patrika. Shrabani`s bibliography features acclaimed biographies like Spy Princess: The Life Of Noor Inayat Khan and Victoria And Abdul: The True Story Of The Queens` Closest Confidant, the latter of which has since been adapted into a comedy-drama film titled Victoria and Abdul (2017). Other notable works include Curry: The Story of the Nation`s Favourite Dish and For King and Another Country: Indian Soldiers on the Western Front, 1914-18.
