Taranjit Kaur is a renowned Indian actor and spoken-word artist best known for her work in the Academy Award-winning German film Raju. She began her journey in theatre at the age of fifteen and has performed extensively at national and international theatre festivals. Her work includes acclaimed productions such as the BAFTA-nominated Mouth of Hell, Ankhon Dekhi, Airlift, Asur, Hawa Badle Hassu, Saanjh, and Shabd on ZEE5. Her upcoming projects include Ikatthe, Jail Diaries, Familiar Families, and Kabir.

Taranjit is the founder of The Forbidden Productions, the company behind the internationally acclaimed and multi-award-winning theatre productions The Chai Queens and Rani and Rumi, both of which continue to tour internationally. Her poetry and spoken-word performances have also garnered millions of views across Instagram and YouTube.
