Best known for playing Deputy Chief David Hale in the FX TV show, Sons of Anarchy (2008-2014) and for writing the screenplay for Hell or High Water (2016), which was nominated at the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, Taylor Sheridan is an actor and award winning film writer. He made his first appearance as Vernon in the TV episode War Zone (2005) on the TV show, Walker, Texas Ranger (1993-2001). Sheridan made his film debut in 2004 with White Rush. He also had a recurring role as Danny Boyd in the hit TV series, Veronica Mars (2004-2007).

In 2015 Sheridan wrote and Denis Villeneuve directed the action-drama, Sicario. The movie was nominated for three Oscars at the Academy Awards. He followed it up with Hell or High Water in 2016, which was directed by David Mackenzie. It was nominated for four Oscars at the 89th Academy Awards, one of which was for the Best Original Screenplay by Sheridan. In 2017 he made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed crime-mystery, Wind River. Sheridan starred alongside Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky, Michael Shannon and William Fichtner in Nicolai Fuglsig`s action movie, 12 Strong. His 2021 release includes Without Remorse and Those Who Wish Me Dead.
