Former NFL cheerleader, Teri Hatcher is best remembered for her portrayal of Susan Mayer on the hit television show Desperate Housewives, which won her several award nominations and widespread acclaim. Hatcher studied acting American Conservatory Theater after which she was seen in the television show The Love Boat in 1985. Seen in a recurring role between 1986 and 1989, Hatcher played the role of Penny Parker in the TV show MacGyver.

Although she made several television appearances on shows such as Capitol, Karen's Song, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Sunday Dinner, her breakthrough came with the 1993 superhero drama romance Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, where she played the role of Lois Lane. Her other television appearances include Jane by Design, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, The Odd Couple, and Supergirl.

Meanwhile, Hatcher also made her movie debut in 1989 with the comedy The Big Picture opposite Kevin Bacon. Among her movie credits are All Tied Up, Tomorrow Never Dies, Spy Kids, Coraline, Sundown, and Madness in the Method.
