Terry Gilliam is an American-born British screenwriter, film director, animator, actor and comedian. He has directed films like MOnty Python and The Holy Grail (1975), Brazil (1985), 12 Monkeys (1996), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998), The Brothers Grimm (2005), Tideland (2005), The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009) and The Zero Theorem (2013). He has been nominated for an Academy Award and Golden Globe and has won two BAFTA Awards. He has been credited as a writer for 28 films and his works include Life of Brian, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Brazil. His 2018 project includes The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.
