An Indian model and a theater and film actor, Vedita Pratap Singh started her acting career with a theater production named Taash Ki Patti, a play by Kadar Khan. With the company, Vedita toured around India and Dubai. She subsequently appeared in several TV commercials for renowned brands like Bajaj Allianz and Parachute Oil. In 2008, Vedita participated in the TV show India's Hottest, which was aired on Channel V India and won the show. Post her stint in the TV industry, she later forayed in the film industry and made her debut on the silver screen with Bhindi Baazaar Inc. (201). Her other notable film credits include Mumbai 125 KM (2014), Danger (2017) and JD (2017), a Hindi drama directed by Shailendra Pandey. She is associated with the 2018 Hindi horror-drama The Past directed by Gagan Puri.
