Veeru Devgan was a stuntman, action choreographer, and film director in Bollywood. He is the father of Bollywood Actor Ajay Devgan and director Anil Devgan. Veeru Devgan who was born in Amritsar began his career in the year 1974 with the film Roti Kapda Aur Makaan. Mr. Devgan had a long-spanning and illustrious career in Bollywood where he choreographed fight and action scenes for over 80 Hindi films which include Mr. Natwarlal, Ek Khiladi Bawan Pattey, Phool Aur Kaante, Jigar, and Dil Kya Kare. As an actor, he did small roles in films Kranti (1981), Sourabh (1979) and Singhasan (1986). As a producer, he produced Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999), Dil Kya Kare (1999) and Singhasan (1986). As an assistant director, he worked on Vishwatma (1992) for which he was the co-producer as well and Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai (1990) on which he was also working as the Action director. Veeru Devgan directed the 1999 film Hindustan Ki Kasam and wrote the idea for Jigar (1992).
