Victoria Justice is an American actress and singer who has largely worked on American television on such shows as: Nickelodeon’s Victorious and Zoe101 and Spectacular! In which she also sang songs.
Early life
Victoria Dawn Justice was born on February 19, 1993, in Hollywood, Florida to Serene and Zack Justice. She has a younger half sister Madison Grace Reed. Justice started acting at the age of ten and pursue her acting career, her family moved to Hollywood, California.
Personal life
Justice was in a relationship with actor Ryan Rottman and then with Pierson Fode.
Movie Career
Justice’s first movie venture was Mary (2005), which was screened at various prestigious film festivals such as the Toronto International Film Festival, Deauville Film Festival, San Sebastián International Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival. In the same year she appeared in When Do We Eat? in a cameo role. In 2006 she played cameo role in Unknown and a supporting role of Holly in The Garden. Neither of the films were successful. From 2006-2012, Justice mainly starred in television shows and telefilms. In 2012 she acted as Wren, as the lead in the comedy Fun Size.
TV Career
Justice made her television premiere in 2003, on one episode of the Gilmore Girls: "The Hobbit, the Sofa and Digger Stiles"; it was a guest appearance. In 2004, she was offered another guest appearance: that of Rebecca, a young pageant contestant on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody on Disney. Her next television appearance was on the second season of Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, where she played the character of Lola Martinez in 2005. In the same year she appeared in as Rose in Silver Bells, a Hallmark television film which entered the Hallmark Hall of Fame. The following year, she made a guest appearance on the episode "Enjoy the Ride" on the show Everwood. In 2009 she guest starred as herself in Nickelodeon’s The Naked Brothers Band twice. She also went on to make appearances on iCarly, True Jackson, VP, and The Troop, BrainSurge.
In 2009, Justice starred in the popular Nickelodeon’s television film Spectacular!, where she performed three songs. The film opened to an audience of 3.7 million viewers, making it one of Nickelodeon’s most popular films.
In 2010 Justice had her own musical show on Nickelodeon entitled Victorious, whose debut show grossed 5.7 million views – the second-highest rated opening for a live action Nickelodeon show. The show ran for 60 episodes during which time she recorded the theme song and other tracks such as: You're the Reason", "Beggin' on Your Knees" and "Best Friend's Brother, "Freak the Freak Out". She also lent her name to the character of Stacy in The Penguins of Madagascar for the Badger Pride. In the same year she acted as Jordan Sands in the hugely successful Nickelodeon television film, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf; it gained a viewership of 5.8 million for the premiere. In 2015, she was cast in the leading role in the MTV series, Eye Candy (2015). Her latest project on television is The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again, where she plays one of the leads.
Independent Projects
On June 18, 2013, Justice released her debut single, "Gold". She was to release her first album in 2014; however, she soon parted ways with Columbia Records. Nonetheless, she released two songs: "Caught Up in You" and "Girl Up on her YouTube channel.
