Vincent Cassel is a French actor and producer. He is the son of veteran French actor Jean-Pierre Cassel. Vincent caught the acting bug at the age of 15 and made his debut with the critically acclaimed film La Haine (1995), in which he successfully managed to showcase the despair of a troubled youth living in the suburbs of Paris. His choice of portraying short-tempered, mentally unstable characters has earned him the label of `The Tough Guy` in European cinema. He has also acted in Ocean`s Twelve (2004), Ocean`s Thirteen (2007) and lent his voice for the character of Monsieur Hood in the movie Shrek (2001). Cassel is well known for his portrayal of Thomas Leroy in the film Black Swan (2010) alongside Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, which was lauded by critics. He is also trained in the Brazilian martial art form Capoeira. His 2016 release include
