2 + 3 Improv workshop
Completed Improv 101? Now it is time to take the next step.
Level 1 introduced you to the fundamentals of improvisation including listening, accepting offers, making bold choices and working as a team.
2 Plus 3 combines Level 2 Creating Characters with Level 3 Game of the Scene in one comprehensive workshop.
Across six weekends you will learn how to create memorable characters, discover what makes scenes consistently funny and develop the confidence to perform with spontaneity and purpose.
What You Will Learn
Create bold and specific characters with strong points of view.
Identify and play the Game of the Scene with confidence.
Heighten patterns to generate stronger comedic moments.
Make committed choices instead of searching for jokes.
Build scenes that feel dynamic and engaging.
Trust the process instead of trying to force the funny.
Understand how character and game work together to create memorable improv.
By the end of the workshop you will have stronger scene work, sharper instincts, memorable characters and the confidence to step into almost any improv scene.
The course concludes with a live one hour Class Show where you will perform what you have learned before an audience.
Prerequisite
Completion of Improv 101 Level 1 or equivalent foundational improv experience.
About the Instructors
Neeltarni Pratap is an actor, writer and improviser trained at Upright Citizens Brigade, iO West, The Second City, LAMDA, The Idiot Workshops and Howard Fine Acting Studio in Los Angeles.
Krishan Hooda is an improviser, filmmaker and co founder of The NEGATIVE. Together Neeltarni and Krishan have spent the last two years building one of Indias growing improv communities through workshops, performances and long form improv training.
