About The Event
In this show, Manvendra Singh presents a narrative woven through poetry, drawing from history, absurdity, and the strange ways in which we remember the past. The performance features his original poems in Hindi and Urdu.
The show is a personal exploration of time, and how it can be both an adversary and a companion, depending on the narratives shaped by those who witnessed history, and those who witnessed the people witnessing it.
At its heart, Manvendra Singhs poetry is about history itself, in all its contradictions. It encompasses love, tragedy, companionship, separation, joy, sorrow, and everything in between.
