About The Event
Unleash your inner rhythm at *The Voices of Bamboo*, an interactive hands on music workshop where culture, creativity, and fun come together. Discover how a simple stalk of bamboo can turn into a musical instrument as you craft your own piece to take home, learn Soundpainting sign language to conduct a live group track, and experience the energetic sounds of the Tongatong through traditional Philippine stamping rhythms.
You will also explore vibrant musical traditions from Indonesia and Southeast Asia while making music together in a lively, welcoming space. No musical background is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to join in. Come make some noise, try something new, and take home great memories along with your handmade instrument.
