About The Event
What happens when everyday beans and pulses become art? In this hands-on workshop, children will explore natural materials to create their own detailed bean mosaic artwork. They will experiment with colour, texture, patterns and composition while discovering the beauty of slow and patient making.
Session Plan
1. Discover and Explore: Children explore different beans, pulses, colours and textures and learn how everyday materials can be transformed into art.
2. Design and Create: Using a guided design, children carefully arrange and glue the beans to create their own mosaic artwork while exploring patterns, composition and texture.
3. Finish and Share: Children complete their artwork, appreciate the details and share their creations with the group.
