About The Event

Divyam Sodhi and Khwaab pair ghazal-inspired melodies with dreamy arrangements and echoes of old-world charm, exploring love and longing.

Love in its many stages – the spark, the distance, the hesitation and the ache – runs through the music of vocalist Divyam Sodhi and producer-composer Khwaab. Their songs pair ghazal- informed singing and Hindustani classical technique with dreamy, ambient production, giving contemporary music a nostalgic sensibility. For their performance, the duo brings these intimate recordings to the stage with a five-piece ensemble.

From Karnal, Haryana, Divyam belongs to the third generation of musicians in his family and began singing at seven. His renditions of old-school Indian music earned him a loyal following online before he introduced audiences to his original work. Khwaab, born in Noida and now based in Mumbai, creates the lush, layered arrangements that shape the duo’s distinctive sound. Their collaboration began with Bohot Bechain in 2021 and grew into the seven-song album Haal-e-Dil, featuring audience favourites Baalam, Piya and Kaise Keh Dein. Kya Kahein followed in 2025, while their four-track EP Ehsaas became the basis of a multi-city tour tracing its emotional arc.

The live line-up features Divyam on vocals and Khwaab on bass guitar, alongside guitarist Parijat Kirti, sitarist Soumendra Goswami and tabla and multi-percussion artist Mahavir Chandrawat. Drawing on his experience across Indian contemporary classical music, jazz, funk, R&B and pop, Parijat brings a versatile approach to the guitar. Soumendra’s playing is rooted in the Senia Maihar Gharana, while Mahavir moves between tabla, dholak and percussion. Together, the musicians create a compelling setting for the songs, with the textures of sitar and percussion complementing their blend of ghazal, pop and folk.
