About the Workshop
Create your own take home Pookalam, inspired by the beautiful floral decorations made during Onam in Kerala. Children will explore geometry, symmetry, patterns and natural materials as they design and build their Pookalam using a combination of colourful natural elements. Along the way, they will discover a little about the traditions of Onam and how flowers, colours and patterns come together to create this festive artwork.
