About The Event
Kids Ganesha Idol Making Workshop
In this fun and creative workshop, kids will learn how to create their own Ganesha idol from scratch using Shadu Mati. The workshop is specially designed for children to explore clay modelling and basic sculpting techniques in a simple, enjoyable and hands on way.
The session will guide kids step by step, from forming the base and building the basic structure to shaping the torso, creating the face and features, adding details and giving their Ganesha idol a final finish.

Take Your Creation Home
After the workshop, kids can take their handmade Ganesha idol home.
Since the idol will be made from fresh Shadu Mati, it will need to be kept aside and allowed to dry completely for a few days. Once the clay has dried properly, the idol can be coloured and decorated at home according to the child's creativity.
Important Note
This is a learning based and hands on creative workshop for kids, not a production class. Every child will create their own Ganesha idol while learning the basic techniques step by step.
The final article may vary in shape, proportions, detailing and overall finish from child to child. The outcome will depend on each child's individual skill, clay handling ability and learning during the workshop.
The main focus of the workshop is to give children a fun and creative experience while learning the process of making a Ganesha idol from scratch, rather than producing identical finished idols.
