About The Event
GUFTAGU - Kuch Baatein, Kuch Mulakaatein...
An intimate musical baithak by Apeksha Saxena, bringing together the soulful world of Ghazal, Sufi, Shayari and Stories in one beautiful evening of music, emotions and meaningful conversations.
GUFTAGU is a rare coming together of different forms of Indian musical and poetic expression, presented together on one stage. From the depth and emotion of Ghazal to the spiritual warmth of Sufi music, from the beauty of Urdu Shayari to the charm of heartfelt storytelling, the evening is designed as a complete artistic experience.
Usually, we experience these forms one at a time. GUFTAGU brings them together in one intimate setting, creating a unique one-woman musical experience led by Apeksha Saxena - a singer, storyteller and performer who carries the entire evening with her voice, words and presence, accompanied by her own band, Sukoon.
The soulful sound of Indian instruments woven into the music will add a touch of the rich aroma and essence of Indian classical musical traditions, creating an atmosphere that is warm, immersive and deeply rooted in Indian musical culture.
Expect soulful melodies, beautiful Indian music, expressive Urdu Shayari, personal stories and moments that invite the audience to pause, listen and connect. It is not just a musical performance, but an evening where music meets poetry, stories meet emotions, and an artist meets her audience up close.
GUFTAGU is about those conversations that stay with us - some spoken through words, some through music, and some simply felt.
