Hand Casting Workshop
Preserve a special moment with your loved one by creating a beautiful hand casting together.
Our Hand Casting Workshop is a creative experience designed especially for couples who want to preserve the shape and connection of their hands as a meaningful piece of art. Using molding clay, you will create a detailed and solid hand cast that can be cherished for years.
What You Will Learn
1. In this workshop you will learn the complete process of creating a hand casting from scratch.
2. You will learn how to prepare and work with molding clay
3. You will learn about the materials and chemicals used during the molding process
4. You will understand the correct ratios of white cement, Plaster of Paris and other materials used to create a strong and durable casting
5. You will learn how to create a detailed hand mould
6. You will learn the process of filling and setting the mould
7. You will understand the basic techniques required to create a clean and well finished piece of art
Workshop Process
During the first session you will create the mould of your hands using molding clay. Once the mould is ready, we will guide you through the casting process using the required mixture materials.
The final casting will capture the details and shape of your hands and create a unique physical memory that you can preserve.
Artwork Pickup
Once the casting has been completed and is ready for pickup, you can either return to the studio at a later time to collect your artwork or choose to come back after approximately one to two hours if the piece is ready for pickup.
You can also arrange a delivery to your home if required.

No prior artistic experience is required. Our artists will guide you through the entire process and help you create your own detailed hand casting.
