What Happy Hands is
Happy Hands is a weekend series by Juniours` Bake for children who love to create, get a little messy & carry home something they made with their own hands. Every edition pairs baking with one hands-on craft. This edition: Block Printing.
Why it matters
As children follow a recipe, pipe their own icing & plan their Children`s Day apron, they practise sequencing, patience & problem-solving. Then they hold up their pistachio rose cupcakes & block-printed apron & say the words every parent waits for: "I made this!"
Meet Chef Sheetal (Chinnu)
Every edition is led by Chef Sheetal (Chinnu), a professional pastry chef with 8+ years of baking experience & a designer`s eye. She guides each child through both activities, step by step. Every ingredient is 100% eggless & vegetarian, made with house-ground flour & child-safe materials. That`s our promise.
What travels home
The fun travels home too. Every child carries a block-printed cotton apron, a Juniours` Bake Dessert Box to serve the family & a Happy Hands Certificate, handed over by their parent at the close. They learn it here. They host it at home.
What makes this edition special
Children celebrate Children`s Day by block printing their own cotton aprons with special festive motifs inspired by the rose. They then bake and decorate pistachio rose cupcakes from scratch, creating something to wear and something delicious to share with their family.
The venue
Hosted at Chinnu`s Bake Studio, Hafeezpet, the working kitchen where all our cakes, brownies & dessert boxes are made. Parents relax in the studio lounge with seating, a cooler & a ceiling fan, a few steps away.
