About The Event
Yogeshwar Singh is a specially abled stand up comic from a small village in Bishnah, Jammu, J&K. He is 80% disabled since birth. He cannot walk, eat or drink on his own. His inability to speak or write properly kept him away from studying further than class 10th. But despite all these difficulties due to his physical condition, his mind finds peace and happiness in performing on stage.
During lockdown Yogeshwar found his artistic expression in poetry. Through poetry he could express his feelings, his emotions and his perspective and understanding about love, life, relationships and his bittersweet experiences with the world in general, as a person with disability. In 2021 he performed on stage for the first time. He then did poetry at many events organised by the ministry of social welfare and Justice in Jammu as well as outside of Jammu, in cities like Delhi and Vadodara at many such events. Yogeshwar soon found out about the blooming open mic culture in Jammu city and started performing at different open mic venues in the city. His joyous nature and positive attitude contributed in getting an audience for his poetry, both on live events and social media. His positive attitude and the constant smile on his face has always been loved by the audience.
After doing poetry all this while Yogeshwar has received a lot of love on social media and a lot of flak as well. But rather being upset about it, he took all the bullying and negativity into his stride and decided to have his very funny two cents on his trollers which are hilarious than their social media comments.
Yogeshwar In his Show Haye Bechara has hilarious comebacks about all the apprehensions that people have about him, his life , his career and his condition. The show has a very positive unique perspective about life, and the art of having fun while living it.
