Vidushi Sujata Gurav is an accomplished Hindustani classical vocalist of the Kirana Gharana. Born into a family of musicians, she received her musical training from her father and guru, Late Pandit Sangameshwar Gurav, and her brother Pandit Kaivalya Kumar Gurav. She holds an M.A. in Music from Karnataka University, Dharwad, and is an A Grade Artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. Her repertoire includes Hindustani classical vocal music along with Vachana, Daasvani, Abhangvani, Thumri and Natya Sangeet. She has performed at several prestigious music festivals and institutions across India and has received honours including the Manik Varma Award (2024) and Avva Award (2017).
