Ishqnaama is a two-hour live musical journey through Hindi cinema's greatest love songs from the 1960s to the 2020s telling one simple story: love never changed, only the way we expressed it did.
From the handwritten-letter era of Lag Jaa Gale to Chura Liya Hai Tumne, Dekha Ek Khwab, Pehla Nasha, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Tum Hi Ho, all the way to Kesariya, relive the nostalgia of love, decade by decade, through music.
Performing live: Indian Idol's finest : Manasi Ghosh (Winner, Indian Idol 15), Anirudh Suswaram(Finalist Indian Idol 15) and Anjana Padmanabhan (Winner, Indian Idol Junior) with a narrative connecting each decade, recited by Vandana Sajnani Khattar. Curated by Rajeev Goswami, maker of the West End musicals Umrao Jaan Ada, Disco Dancer and Beyond Bollywood.
