A. You can register on www.bookmy.show/mami.com w.e.f 3rd September, 2019. In addition to online registration, on-ground registration at all festival screening venues will open from 10th October, 2019 and will be active for the duration of the festival.
Q. What are the dates of the Jio MAMI 21st Mumbai Film Festival with Star?
A. The dates for the Jio MAMI 21st Mumbai Film Festival with Star are from 17th October to 24th October, 2019. (The film screenings only begin across venues from the 18th of October.)
Q. How do I collect my festival badge?
A. You can collect your festival badge from your selected badge pickup venue. If you are unable to pick up the badge at your pre-selected venue, you can collect the badge from any of the festival screening venues. Please note that you can collect your badge only after showing a valid photo identity card (Passport, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Voter Identity Card or Driver`s License). The badges will be available for pick up across the festival screening venues from 10 am to 10 pm from 10th October, 2019 onwards, until the end of the festival.
Q. Can someone else collect my festival badge on my behalf?
A. Each delegate needs to personally collect their festival badge. Only after showing a valid identity card (Passport, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Voter Identity card or Driver`s License) will the badge be given to you.
Q. What do I need to carry when I go to pick up my festival badge?
A. Please present the following at the registration desk to collect your festival badge.
The electronically generated confirmation email/SMS.
Valid photo identity card (Passport, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Voter Identity Card or Driver’s License).
Please note that the festival badge will not be issued in your absence and in the absence of a valid photo identity card (Passport, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Voter Identity Card or Driver`s License).
In the case of a Press Pass, the email stating approval of Press Accreditation from the MAMI Team must be presented.
Q. What can I do if I lose my festival badge?
A. Delegates who have lost their festival badge will have to re-register for a new festival badge for security reasons. Lost festival badges will not be replaced.
Q. Are the festival badges transferable? Can I use any other person’s festival badge?
A. The festival badges are non-transferable. Any misuse or sharing of festival badges is strictly prohibited and the management holds the right of admission for such delegates.
Q. Can I book seats for sessions that happen at the festival screening venues?
A. Yes. You can book seats for the sessions (masterclasses, in conversation sessions, panel discussions) which happen at all the festival screening venues along with the film screenings. These sessions will be marked out in the festival schedule and can be booked the same way a seat is booked for a film screening.
Q. How do I attend a film screening/session?
A. There are two ways to attend a film screening/session:
Book a seat: You need to book a seat for the film screening/session that you want to attend using your unique festival badge number.

2. Rush/Walk-in line: You can arrive at the screening theatre and wait in the Rush/Walk-in line. You will be given entry to the theatre subject to availability.
Q. What is a rush/walk-in line?
A rush/walk-in line is meant for the delegates who have not pre-booked their seats for the screenings/sessions. Depending upon availability, the delegates in this line are given access to the screening/session.
Q. Do I need to book seats for each film screening/session separately?
A. Yes. You need to book seats for each film screening/session separately. Please note that all seat bookings are subject to availability. In addition to booking a seat, you must be seated in the theatre at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the screening.
Q. How many film screenings/sessions can I book in a day?
A. You can pre-book a maximum of four film screenings/sessions in a day. Please note that all seat bookings are subject to availability.
Q. When can I start booking my seats for a film screening?
Booking for each film screening will open a day prior to the screening day at 8 am.
For screenings on the 18th of October 2019, bookings will open on 17th of October 2019 and so on.
You can book online through www.bookmyshow.com or on-ground at the booking counters across all festival screening venues.
Some seats are reserved for first come, first serve walk-in delegates at the venue so you can try and avail that facility which is subject to availability.
Please note that all seat bookings are subject to availability. In addition to booking a seat, you must be seated in the theatre at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the screening.
Q. Can I change or cancel a booking?
A. You cannot change one booking into another. However, you can cancel a booking for a particular screening/session and then book another seat for a different screening/session that you might like to watch. All bookings need to be cancelled at least 1 hour prior to the start time of the screening/session. Please note that the new booking you make post cancelling an existing one will also be subject to the availability of seats.
Q. In case I am unable to book my seat for a screening/session due to unavailability, what can I do?
A. The festival usually takes this into consideration and tries to schedule multiple screenings of a film. (The same does not apply to sessions.) In case you are unable to book a particular film screening, you can do one of the following:
Refer to your screening schedule to see an alternative screening date, day and time and book it in advance.
Check online for sudden availability due to cancellations.
Arrive at the screening auditorium much before the screening time to check if the rush line/walk-in seats are available at the venue or if there have been any cancellations.

A. Half Ticket movie screenings will take place on the 20th October 2019, at Matterden Carnival Cinemas (Deepak Talkies).

A. The Half Ticket screening venue is Matterden Carnival Cinemas (Deepak Talkies).
Q. How do I get access to Half Ticket screenings?
A. To get access to Half Ticket screenings, you will have to register yourself for the festival online at www.bookmy.show/mami.com anytime from 3rd September to 20th October 2019. On-ground registration will open on 10th October 2019 and will go on through the duration of the festival. (Festival dates this year are 17th October to 24th October 2019).
Q. How can children and young adults register for Half Ticket?
A. Children and young adults cannot register for Half Ticket without an adult (parent/ authorized guardian). It is mandatory for the adult (parent/ authorized guardian) registering the Children and Young Adults for Half Ticket to be a festival delegate with a valid MAMI festival badge.
It is mandatory for the delegate (parent/guardian) accompanying the child to carry valid photo ID of the child and the delegate themselves. In case the delegate is a guardian, a letter of authority from the parent of the child, along with photo ID of the child, the parent of the child and the delegate needs to be carried at all times. Photo IDs will be checked at the time of entry into the venue. Entry can be denied at the discretion of the management if ID proof is inadequate.
Q. What is the age group Half Ticket caters to?
A. Children and young adults from ages 5 to 17 years are eligible to watch Half Ticket screenings. Each film has an additional specific age advisory. Please refer to the festival schedule to see the age advisories mentioned before booking seats for screenings. All adult festival delegates are also eligible to watch Half Ticket screenings.
Q. Can children and young adults attend Half Ticket screenings on their own post registration?
A. Children and young adults cannot attend Half Ticket screenings/sessions unaccompanied by the adult (parent/guardian) that has registered them. It is mandatory for the delegate (parent/guardian) accompanying the child to carry valid photo ID of the child and the delegate themselves. In case of the delegate is a guardian, a letter of authority from the parent of the child, along with photo id of the child, the photo ID of the parent of the child and the photo ID of the delegate needs to be carried at all times. Photo IDs will be checked at the time of entry into the venue. Entry can be denied at the discretion of the management if ID proof is inadequate.

A. One adult can register up to 2 children/young adults for Half Ticket.
Q. Do I need to pre-book seats for myself and the children for the screening of Half Ticket movies?
A. Yes. It is advised that you pre-book your seats as well as the seats for your children for the screenings.
Q. Are the movies, age-sensitive for children?
A. Yes. All our movies come with age advisories that are mentioned in the daily schedule. Therefore, it is necessary that the parent/guardian reads the daily schedule prior to the booking of seats.
