About The Event
We all have stories. Let`s learn to tell them better!
Ever started telling your friends something interesting that happened to you, only to realise halfway through that they`re not really listening?
Or heard someone turn an ordinary incident into a story that had everyone hooked?
What makes some stories so interesting, while others aren`t?
The truth is, we`re all storytellers.
Every time we say, "Aaj pata hai kya hua?", we`re telling a story.
But making that story interesting? That`s a skill. And like any other skill, it can be learned.
What`s this workshop about?
Kahaani Sunao: Make Everyday Stories Interesting is a fun, interactive storytelling workshop by Ankit Pahwa, designed to help you discover stories in everyday life and tell them in ways that keep people hooked and stay with them long after.
Through conversations, real-life examples, and hands-on storytelling exercises, we`ll explore what makes a good story work.
What will you learn?
Find stories in everyday moments: Discover how ordinary experiences can make great stories.
Make your stories interesting: Explore how relatability, curiosity, humour, and emotions keep people engaged.
Bring characters to life: Use small details to make the people in your stories feel real and relatable.
Keep people hooked: Learn how objectives, challenges, and conflicts build curiosity.
Show, don`t just tell: Make your audience visualise and feel the moments you`re describing.
What happens at the workshop?
This isn`t a workshop where you sit quietly and listen to someone talk for two hours.
You`ll tell stories, listen to others, participate in fun group activities, and discover storytelling techniques together.
You`ll begin by sharing a simple incident from your own life.
Then, you`ll learn how to bring more life, emotion, and structure to that story.
By the end, you`ll tell the same story again, only better!
You`ll experience the difference yourself.
Who is this workshop for?
Anyone who has ever said, "Aaj pata hai kya hua?"
Whether you want to be more engaging in everyday conversations, communicate your experiences better, create content, or simply learn a fun new skill, this workshop is for you.
No prior storytelling or public speaking experience required.
Just bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to share a story or two.
You already have stories worth telling. Let`s make them worth listening to!
