Step into an evening where music blooms like whispers in a garden under a starry night. The Garden of Echoes invites you into the soulful world of Khatija Rahman, whose melodic voice has touched hearts across languages and borders.
On this special night, Khatija will perform a carefully curated set of songs she has sung in Tamil, English, and Hindi, weaving together her signature warmth and ethereal sound at one of Chennai’s most historic venues, the Museum Theatre. She will be joined on stage by her band, including the spirited Sunshine string quartet and a brass trio of the Sunshine Orchestra; and will also feature the majestic voices of the Indian Choral Ensemble (Chamber) directed by Kalyani Nair and Karthik Manickavasakam, creating immersive layers of sound and melody.
The Garden of Echoes is more than a concert—it is an invitation into a world suspended between dream and reality. Khatija’s music will drift like echoes in the night, leaving the listener wondering where the song ends and silence begins. It is in this dreamlike setting that Khatija’s music finds its truest expression.
