Learn to Sing Carnatic Music
-A 90-Minute Introduction to Carnatic Music, Sankarabharana Raga & Nottuswarams
Are you curious about Carnatic music but not sure where to begin? or would you like to resume your Carnatic music journey after a break?
Then join us for a welcoming, hands-on musical experience where you will discover Carnatic music,Sankarabharana Raga, explore its swaras, and learn to sing three easy Nottuswarams with guided instruction.
This is not a concert, you will be part of the music.
What participants will experience
Participants will be introduced to Carnatic Music, beautiful Raga-Sankarabharanam and guided through three easy Nottuswarams. The goal is not to turn you into trained Carnatic singers in one session, but to help you experience the joy of learning and singing Carnatic music by yourself.
No prior Carnatic music experience is required.Come with curiosity and a willingness to sing.
