Megher Pore Megh
Presented by Saptaswara, Megher Pore Megh is a soulful celebration of the monsoon through the timeless songs and poetry of Rabindranath Tagore. As clouds gather and rain awakens memories, the programme brings alive the many moods of the season longing, romance, solitude, joy and renewal.
Featuring music and recitation by Srikanta Acharya, Subrata Sengupta, Agnibha Bandyopadhyay, Lopamudra Mitra, Srabani Sen, Bratati Bandyopadhyay, Jayati Chakraborty and Sujoy Prasad Chattopadhyay, the evening promises an immersive journey through Tagores evocative world of rain.
Conceptualised and directed by Subrata Sengupta, and hosted by Kaushik Sen and Rashmi Bala.
