About The Event
‘MELODIOUS PANCHMADAN’ pays tribute to the musical brilliance of R. D. Burman (Pancham Da) and Madan Mohan. Few composers shaped the emotional fabric of Indian film music as profoundly as Pancham and Madan Mohan.
Their tender, expressive and beautifully crafted songs have long been cherished for the way they touch the heart, and this concert brings those gems together in a single, immersive evening.
The show features a great team of singers such as Sarvesh Mishra, Sampada Goswami, Prajakta Satardekar, Dhanashri Deshpande and Prashant Naseri, accompanied by a large live orchestra led by Mohit Shastry and compered by well-known musician and anchor, Anand Sahastrabudhe. A total of 30 artists, including a dedicated group of violinists, will come together to recreate the beauty and emotion of these iconic compositions.
Hosted at Ravindra Natya Mandir on 25th December (Bank Holiday), the evening offers a soulful celebration of two musical legacies that continue to inspire.
